Read on to learn how to prepare your character for the new phase. You will discover what new PvP and PvE gear you can obtain in TBC Anniversary Phase 4, and how a WoW TBC carry service can help you quickly master the new content.
How to Prepare for TBC Anniversary Phase 4
To transition effectively into the new phase of the TBC Anniversary, you need a strategic approach to stocking up on resources and consumables, as well as planning your gear. At the start of a new phase, prices for essential items on the Auction House can spike; therefore, to avoid running out of the gold you’ll need for repair costs while progressing through the new raid, make sure to purchase all the necessary consumables for yourself or your guild in advance.
Depending on whether you prefer PvP or PvE content, assemble the strongest gear possible for the current phase. This will make it much easier for you to progress through high-level content in the new patch. You can also study the tactics for an upcoming raid in advance, especially if you plan to raid with your guild or organize a group yourself. This gives you more time to explore the content once it’s released, rather than having to scramble to memorize all the mechanics at the last minute.
TBC Anniversary PvP Season 4 Overview
The new PvP season in The Burning Crusade Anniversary Phase 4 brings only minor changes, primarily concerning a new set of Gladiator gear and a mount that you receive upon reaching the rank of Gladiator. First and foremost, a new variant of the drake mount also becomes available. The Brutal Nether Drake can be obtained by finishing the season among the top 0.5% of Arena players. Reaching the top 0.1% grants the seasonal Brutal Gladiator title.
In the new Season 4 of PvP, a new Brutal Gladiator set has been added, which includes head, legs, chest, shoulder, and hand pieces. This set, like previous seasonal ones, can be purchased from an Arena vendor using Arena Points. You can view the full list of all gear for each class on the Wowhead database, along with its stats and bonuses.
New Raid in TBC Anniversary Phase 4
In TBC Classic Fresh Phase 4, the new 10-player raid, Zul’Aman, becomes available to players. The instance contains 6 bosses: Akil’zon, Nalorakk, Jan’alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass, and Daakara. The raid is located in the Ghostlands, in the Eastern Kingdoms, and requires neither a specific item nor attunement to enter.
Unlike other TBC raids, Zul’Aman does not contain tier sets or legendary items, serving instead as a preparatory stage for the final phase of the expansion. The item level of gear dropped by bosses ranges from 128 to 141, with the final boss, Zul’jin, offering the highest item level; however, the rings obtainable from the third and fourth hostage chests also have an item level of 141.
You will receive 2 Badges of Justice for defeating each of the first 5 bosses, and 3 for defeating the final boss, for a total of 13 Badges of Justice per raid clear. The trash mobs in Zul’Aman do not contain any significant or notable loot worth farming for. However, some loot from raid bosses includes several high-end epic gear pieces:
- Berserker’s Call – An excellent and powerful trinket for fresh level 70 characters or melee classes that are still gearing up. It provides a passive bonus of 90 Attack Power, and its on-use effect grants an additional 360 Attack Power for 20 seconds, with a 2-minute cooldown. This makes it an ideal item for burst phases at the start of a fight.
- Zul’jin Weapons – The final raid boss’s loot pool includes melee weapons and a bow at item level 141, featuring notable stats and equip bonuses.
- Enchanting Formula: Executioner – Each of the bosses can drop an Enchanting Formula for melee weapons, which allows your attacks to periodically ignore 840 of an opponent’s armor.
In general, all bosses drop good items that you can use either to improve your current build or to gear up a new character. You can find Phase 4 builds and boss encounter strategies in the Icy Veins guides.

Timed Event in TBC Classic Phase 4
An additional level of difficulty and a special challenge for the Zul’Aman raid in TBC Classic Fresh Phase 4 is the time event. Players must defeat all the bosses and rescue the hostages within 45 minutes. Each week, a group of players has only one attempt to do so. After defeating a boss and rescuing the hostages, each player will receive a chest containing one piece of equipment with an item level between 128 and 151.
Completing the entire challenge on time will reward one player in the party with an Amani War Bear mount. What makes this mount rare and highly sought after by both collectors and casual players is the overall difficulty of the challenge. Defeating 6 bosses in 45 seconds is incredibly tough without a well-prepared, well-coordinated team equipped with at least Tier 5 set gear.
If you want to obtain the unique Amani War Bear mount while also securing powerful loot for your character, you can take advantage of a TBC raid carry. A professional team of players will guide you quickly through every boss within the required timeframe. Expert raiders from Boosthive know the mechanics of every boss and how to secure extra time. With their help, you can also quickly prepare your character for any activities in the current or upcoming Phase in TBC Classic Fresh.
